About Modular project
Modular is a open source development project to create a modular automation system to automate old mechanical user interface machines to save user time and move the machines to this century. At the same time it will give an opportunity for the user to re-cycle current machines instead of discarding old an buing new ones.
The system is comprised of a growing set of different modules that are made to manipulate different types of buttons, switches or valves.
About Author
My name is Jari Pakarinen and I am working at Fab Lab Oulu at University of Oulu, Finland. I have master's degree at planetary geology. I have been working on different jobs at university of Oulu for years. I started working at Fab Lab Oulu 2017 by participating Fab Academy 2017. After graduation I have been working at fab lab as instructor for later Academy years and piloting Fab Incubator program.
