How to run a kickstarter project.
Determine overall funding goal (what you need to get to make it happen)
Determine reward price (What the product will cost)
Delivery expected 3-12 months delivery time
Minimize fulfillment and reputation
Most of project 1000 -10 000 money goal. If goal is really high, think about it, and see if it really is feasible.
Start small and grow and come back for more if it works well.
Make a good prototype, Nice setting images etc.
2. Telling your story!
Kickstarter is a videostrong platform. So have a good video!
Remember to add human element.
Follow these:
Show user experience, not studio shots.
Show the process and sketches! How the product comes to life!
People support your process, development, backers like to live the development process themselves.
Building a community:
Most important tool for marketing is the email list.
Build it before you go into kickstarter. Only 20% of your pledges come from kickstarter community.
Kickstarter is not open in Finland or in Equador.
